May 1. Sharing And Transforming New Attitudes Can Grow Areas.

Who might you ask to be creative with you?

As entrepreneurs and leaders, we can be extremely creative. It is what many of us do. But creativity is not necessarily valuable as it takes shape. Many times, the creativity must be transformed into part of the value proposition.

That is where our team can come into play. Ideas, systems, products, services, payment methods and marketing are all part of the entire process. Where have you been creative this past week? It might have been in any of those different aspects of the value delivery process.

We are challenged sometimes to get others to help us in our creative process. If you have something creative that could add to your value proposition, who can you involve to help advance it? If we believe that all we have to do is be creative, we will likely stall.

When our attitude begins to draw us inward and only to our own contribution, we need to consider an adjustment. Is there something going on in your company or team that is creative that you have not participated in? Why did we not participate with that?

When we think about sharing our own creativity, our attitude toward others might be a barrier to accelerating it. What can you do to be supportive of creativity with the whole team? What can you do about it in the next seven days?

In our faith, sometimes we can grow because of others. Where are others doing something creative to overcome an obstacle? To grow ourselves, we might be able to adopt ideas of creativity from others as well.

Those ideas could be our study of the Bible, it might be our prayer life, it might be something as simple as copying an encouraging attitude. Regardless of the action, tapping into someone’s creativeness can bring us and our relationship with Christ better value.

In John 2:1 NLT, we read where Jesus' mother asks him to help with the wedding. This is the story where the water was turned into wine. Mary moves the celebration ahead through Jesus. She did not do anything but launched someone else. Where might you be moved forward by someone’s idea?

What are you doing that others might be able to benefit from? An attitude that we must keep things to ourselves for too long can restrict value. But in our faith Christ has asked us to grow in a completely new way. Growing different attitudes takes work but it can be done.

How can we use others’ creativity and share our own to glorify Jesus? What can you do about it in the next seven days?

Let us pray, Jesus, you did many miracles including turning water into wine. Today, I want to ask for a miracle in our own lives. Help us where we have not been willing to accept others’ help. Move the Holy Spirit among us to advance our relationship with you.

I want a stronger relationship and I can do something about it by adopting a new attitude or a new behavior. Open us to be ready for that change. Help us to help others as they desire to advance with you as well. Shape and transform us like you changed the water into the wine. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen,
