When was the last time you worked with another leader? Sometimes as an entrepreneur our teams need to work with other teams. At those times, it is common that leaders work with other leaders. At that time, we work to figure out how another's value proposition can work in coordination with our own.
Are we choosing a company to serve with us that knows its value proposition? It is a stronger relationship and better for all involved when we choose in this manner. But if one of the companies is value based while the other is product driven there will likely be a delivery or service snag at some point.
The likelihood of a long-term relationship is limited in different ways. The long-term value certainly is limited. Where is your company limited because of a misalignment? We all get misaligned. There is nothing unusual about getting misaligned. The question is how long we will allow ourselves and our teams to operate that way.
A symptom of misalignment is friction and frustration. Where are you or your team members frustrated? Be inspired today to choose to be less frustrated. Make the choice and seek out what is misaligned. What is the first thing that you can do about it in the next seven days?
It has been said that if you are not growing you are dying. When I think about that in regard to my faith, it is fear that can grip my mind. I do not want my faith to shrink, to withdraw or to die in any way. I want my connection to the trinity to get better and stronger all the time.
As brothers and sisters in Christ, I think we need allies in our journey. We need people at similar stations of their faith to be walking with us. We also need allies who are stronger so that they can help us to grow as well. But if one constantly is with others who are not helping to strengthen us, it might be time for a new ally.
“But the commanding officer wanted to spare Paul, so he did not let them carry out their plan.... So everyone escaped safely to shore.” Acts of the Apostles 27:43-44 NLT. We can learn here that even those with somewhat opposing roles can still work together if the focus is on value.
The commander of the soldiers taking Paul to Caesar certainly saw value in Paul. Where are your relationships strong and when was the last time you shared your appreciation? Where might your allies not be as strong as you might need for this part of your faith walk?
This is a great day to be inspired to choose to add another ally in your faith. What is the first thing to do about it in the next seven days?
Let us pray, Heavenly Father, the winds, streams, sun, and oceans all work together to bring refreshment to the earth in the form of rain. We ask that your light help us to see where we need strong connections.
Encourage us to share your love and our appreciation for those that are walking with us. Make those we align with to be pushing or pulling us to know you more. Make our efforts today honor you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen,
